Job Details & Requirements
This opportunity requires an active state medical license and DEA registration with a Texas address. Candidates must be board certified in ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM, or the equivalent osteopathic board, and must have completed residency training in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine. Required certifications include ACLS, ATLS, and PALS. Candidates must also provide CME records from the past two years, case logs from the past two years, copies of all education and training diplomas, a Social Security card, driver’s license, a color photo emailed to the MSO, and current TB and flu documentation.
In addition, physicians must complete 8 hours of stroke CME and 8 hours of trauma CME annually.
Facility details include an annual volume of 26,000 visits, a 14-bed emergency department, and Cerner EMR.
Physician coverage is provided 24 hours per day through 12-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. NP/PA coverage is provided 12 hours per day, 7 days per week, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Malpractice coverage is claims-based with unlimited tail coverage. Available subspecialty support includes 24-hour laboratory, radiology, and CT services. All candidates must be cross-credentialed at Doctors Hospital Laredo Main, Doctors Hospital South, and Doctors Hospital Saunders.
Job Pay Rate: $200.00/hr plus weekend and holiday. Willing to negotiate for the right candidate
