- Fast Track available; APPs work between the main ED and Fast Track
Job Requirements
Physician Qualifications
- Board certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine
- FP/IM candidates must have 3 years of ER experience
Advanced Practice Provider Qualifications
- Must have Emergency Medicine experience
- ACLS and ATLS required
Coverage Type
This opportunity is for acute care Emergency Medicine coverage and includes a double-coverage model.
Staffing Model
1. Physician coverage: 36–48 hours
- Friday–Monday: 48 hours
- Tuesday–Thursday: 36 hours
2. Advanced Practitioner coverage: 24–36 hours
- Friday–Monday: 36 hours
- Tuesday–Thursday: 24 hours

Facility Information
Lake Regional Health System is a 500,000-square-foot, 116-bed hospital recognized by Medicare as a Regional Referral Center. The facility offers private patient rooms, a large outpatient department, and a 35-bed Emergency Department. The ED is a state-designated Level III Trauma Center. Additional clinical resources include an 18-bed Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit, a 22-bed Stepdown Unit, a Level II Nursery, and a state-designated Level II Stroke Center.
